Oh my gosh... last Friday I was at Old Navy trying to find a maternity spring jacket and I parked the car next to a SUV that had opened windows. In the booster seat with her head leaning out the window was LINDSEY. If that child only knew how valuable that doll was....
Thank God I am an honest person.

This made me LOL!!! I wonder if her mom knows. I always make DD put her dolls in the trunk or leave them at home.

I went ot Restoration Hardware's warehouse sale and saw an upside down Kaya being dragged on the ground (braids hopping along the floor) by her tiny mama and a Kit in an adorable outfit ( looked like Oililly - wonder who made it?) being spun around like the propeller on a helicopter by the slightly larger sister.
My kids saw them and one said "Ohhh, I'm getting carsick looking at her!"

When I was little, we were house hunting and viewing a house in a kind of posh neighbourhood. There, not in the children's bedrooms but in the front room of the house, were Kirsten, Samantha and Molly gathered around Molly's birthday table with all the trappings. I wanted to know if they came with the house.

I'll see AG dolls around but sadly I must say most of them are half dressed and barefooted.
However I will admit that sometimes it's these dolls that are the most loved. My Sam's hair is pretty ratty but she is one loved doll. It's the velvateen rabbit thing.

I saw this happen with a friend of my daughter. The friend had a My Twinn doll and this past summer at the library she was draggin the doll on the floor by her hair. The friend recently got Molly and Marisol and I wonder how long it will be before Molly and Marisol suffer the same fate.
My Lindsey recently suffered bad treatment though as well. She was sitting on a high stool and I accidentally bumped the chair and she took a nose dive onto the tile. Her legs are pretty loose now.
